One of Kuala Lumpur’s best French fine-dining restaurants to date opended in November 2011.

Restaurant La Vie en Rose located in a bungalow built in the mid 20th century on the gentle incline of a hill along Jalan Raja Chulan, enjoys a garden setting in the golden heart of Kuala Lumpur and an unprecedented view of the KL Tower and Twin Towers. The restaurant come to known for it's food quality, classic French cuisine with a home-cooked taste to it – expect favourites such as foie gras, bouillabaisse and coq au vin and affortable wine list.

The restaurant might be easily missed as it is located on a slightly higher grounds, on a small hill slope which connects to Changkat Bukit Bintang. If you're coming from Jalan Raja Chulan where The Weld Shopping Centre is located on the right at the traffic light junction, go straight for 300m and you'll see a Shell petrol station on your left. Right after Shell, there's a slope going uphill adjacent to the road and it's quite tricky as you'll need to do a sharp U-turn to the left to go up to the restaurant. For convenience, you can just park opposite the restaurant at the open car park on the other side of the road.

Escargot puff with garlic and anise cream sauce; Pan fried foie gras, caramelized apples & aged balsamic vinegar; Tournedos Rossini (medium done beef tenderloin topped with pan seared foie gras, served with port and truffle sauce, side with truffle mash)

Being a great gathering & lovely place for the French food, wine lovers or even for a romantic date. The food price is at upper end pricing in town and the restaurant is at open air style.
