Kampachi @ Troika
Kampachi is one of KL's most acclaimed Japanese brands serving high-quality food in modern grandeur settings. The star of the restaurant is most surely their signature soba noodles. Kampachi might possibly be the only Japanese brand in KL that serves handmade soba; each strand is springy, chewy and rightfully exciting.
Where fish is concerned, sashimi is air-flown from the Tsukiji fish market in Tokyo, only the biggest wholesale fish market in the world.
Kampachi was voted Best Japanese in the Time Out KL Food Awards 2009, 2011, 2012 and 2013. Executive chef How Yoke Seng was named Food Personality of the Year in 2013. The restaurant was shortlisted in the same category in 2010.
With a seating capacity of 118 persons, the sleek interior includes a sushi counter on the main floor flanked by dining tables on one bright sunshiney end and a row of cosier intimate seating on the other end, next to the bar. There is a more private dining area on the upper mezzanine level where a stylish curved teppanyaki counter is located.
Seasonal Omakase Sashimi. Slices of the freshest fish, scallops, shrimps and octopus – all airflown directly from Tokyo’s renowned Tsukiji market were delicately laid out on the shaved ice.
Kinki Nitsuke – Simmered Winter Season Rock Fish in Seasoning; Teppanyaki Tenderloin;Japanese Melon & Kinkan - The price of these melons is at a premium level during winter – it costs RM75 per slice and the Kinkan is at RM19 per piece.
Sunday Brunch (Semi-Buffet Brunch)
Cost at RM150++/pax (adult) and RM85.00++/pax (child), semi-buffet that offer by Kampachi Troika means there are ala-carte buffet and self-service buffet as well. Drinks is not included.
Sashimi is one slide per person; one dish from the main kitchen and unlimited order from the menu. The dish was freshly cook from the kitchen after your order and ensure you have a great food enjoyment. The menu might change especially the air flown sashimi very depending on the items from Tsukiji fish market.
Premium sashimi which consists of Toro, Kanpachi and Tai; Tarabagani Yaki - Grilled Hokkaido King Cra; Wagyu Asparagus Maki
